Country singer Hillary Scott, one-third of the group Lady A, has shared the first photo of her newborn twin girls who were born on January 29th, 2018. The photo shows the two sweet babies wrapped in matching pink blankets with their little heads nestled together. Scott and her husband, drummer Chris Tyrell, named their daughters Betsy Mack and Emory JoAnn.

A Difficult Journey

Scott had previously revealed that she suffered a miscarriage in 2015 before becoming pregnant with her twins. In a social media post, she shared her difficulty in dealing with the loss and how she eventually found joy again. She also shared how overwhelming and emotional it was to find out that she was pregnant with twins and how grateful she was for the opportunity to be a mother to them.

The new mom has taken some time off from her music career to focus on her family. She recently shared on social media how grateful she was for this time and the ability to be there for her daughters.
